SCAM ALERT!
Please be aware that Woodlands Credit Union has been informed of a member that recently received a call from a person identifying themselves as a Robert Wood, from a company called International Control Group.
The supposed representative informed the member that he had her Social Security number and other personal information and she owed Woodlands Credit Union money and wanted her to pay with debit/credit immediately.
Fortunately, the member suspected this might be a scam and contacted the credit union.
Please be advised that if any representative from Woodlands Credit Union calls you for any reason, we will identify ourselves as Woodlands Credit Union and we would never ask you to provide any personal information, nor would we state such information to you from a call that we initiated.
Members are advised to always call the credit union themselves to verify any caller and to please report any suspicious calls to our office.
